A Mother of a Potluck!

Saturday, May 12, the day before Mother’s Day, provides another occasion to enjoy great food and art in downtown St. Louis. We cordially invite you to a casual, community-wide potluck and recipe swap at the Art Saint Louis gallery. What better way to ring in Mother’s Day than to enjoy a smorgasbord of home cooking and original artworks inspired by food! Adding to the flavor of the evening will be door prizes by Foodie STL, wine tastings by Stone Hill Winery, and live art by Henryk Ptasiewicz and Megan Rieke.
Call for Entries & Reservations
Everyone is warmly invited to participate in this special event. Whether you are bringing a dish or just your appetite, event admission is free, however, reservations are necessary. Please place your reservation by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or on our Facebook event page. When placing reservations, please provide:
1) Your name and the name(s) of any guest(s) you plan to bring with you
2) Information on the dish (if any) that you plan to prepare and bring to the event, including:
a. Title of recipe
b. Type of dish: appetizer, side, entrée or dessert
c. Number of servings provided
A Few Important Details
- All dishes must provide a minimum of six servings.
- No soups, chili or dishes with red sauce. This is for the safety of artworks, walls and pedestals in the gallery.
- Potluck contributors must provide serving dishes and serving utensils (serving spoons, spatulas, etc.) AND at least 10 printed copies of the recipe, including ingredient list. Sorry, no secret recipes allowed!
- Hot dishes must be brought pre-heated and ready to serve.
- Art Saint Louis will provide ice, cups, flatware and napkins.

Rolling Out "Food, Glorious Food!"

Thanks to all who joined us last weekend for the opening reception and block party for Food, Glorious Food in downtown St. Louis! Most especially we want thank the artists, volunteers, musicians, wineries and food trucks who made the event so special. It was a delight to share the occasion with you all, and, thanks to the fine video work of the Arbor Group and New World Post Productions, we can now share a bit of the excitement with everyone else! Enjoy!

You are cordially invited to join Art Saint Louis on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. for a free reception for our inaugural Off-Site Exhibit at The Laurel Apartments. On view at this unique location are works by Art Saint Louis member artists SJ Hammack, Arlene Ligori, Bob Rickert, and Luanne Rimel. Please join us to celebrate this great new venue and honor these four artists.
