Blur was a multi-media exhibition that featured 74 artworks that blurred concepts or were visually blurry or askew. The exhibit included a vast array of interpretations on the theme. Jurors: artists and Professors of Art Jane Barrow and Bill Barrett reprised their roles as Jurors for this follow-up show to 2010's Blink exhibit.

Serving as jurors for this exhibit were artists Bill Barrett and Jane Barrow. Bill Barrett is Director of the May Gallery at Webster University and is also Professor in the Department of Electronic & Photographic Media, School of Communications at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. Jane Barrow is Professor of Art and Head of the Painting Program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, IL.
From 178 artworks submitted by 101 artists for our jurors consideration for the Blur exhibition, Ms. Barrow and Mr. Barrett selected 74 works in all media by 61 artists for the final exhibit. Presented concurrently with Blur, this multi-media exhibit was curated by artist and art educator Sarah Paulsen, 2010 Critical Mass Stimulus Grant recipient. This exhibition featured works by four St. Louis regional painters who play with the edge of canvas and features works that expand out of the picture plane.
Featured artists: Rebecca Estee, Zak Marmalefsky, Sarah Paulsen, Lyndsey Scott with local fashion designer MIC∆H. Presented in the North Gallery.

Art Saint Louis is FREE and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Gallery closed Sundays, holidays and between exhibits. Gallery closed May 24 through 6 p.m. June 9.
