Please join Art Saint Louis for Honor Awards 2023, our Summer exhibit in the Gallery featuring works by ten St. Louis regional artists who received Awards of Excellence for their works in our 2021 exhibits.

Honor Awards 2023 features artworks by ten Award-winning regional artists from Missouri and Illinois who received Awards of Excellence in our 2021 juried exhibits at Art Saint Louis.

Honor Awards 2023 is presented in the Art Saint Louis Gallery from June 10 through July 13, 2023.
The Gallery is closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and on July 1 & July 4 for Independence Day.

The exhibit opened with a free reception on Saturday, June 10 from 4-6 p.m. Complimentary beverages will be served courtesy of Switchgrass Spirits, Brenda Gilliam, and Art Saint Louis.


 

The new artworks in this exhibition have not previously been exhibited at Art Saint Louis and include ceramic sculpture, drawing, mixed media, painting, printmaking, and textiles. The Art Saint Louis Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and all are welcome. Closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and on July 1 & July 4 for Independence Day.

The Art Saint Louis Gallery is located at 1223 Pine in downtown St. Louis and is free and open to the public six days a week, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

We respectfully request that classes, clubs and groups comprised of 8 or more guests please make an appointment with us at least 7 days in advance so that we can best accommodate your visit.

 
OUR JUROR

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with artist Sara Vanderbeek of Austin, Texas as Juror for this exhibition. Vanderbeek is an award-winning artist, curator, lecturer, and gallery owner. Sara was born and raised in St. Louis and holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI. Her works are included in numerous private collections throughout the U.S.


PARKING RECOMMENDATIONS
Art Saint Louis is located at 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis. There are parking meters on Pine Street and Olive Street and all nearby streets. Parking meters run 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Fines are steep ($20), so don't let your meter expire. You might download the handy Parkmobile app, where you can monitor & pay your parking meter via your smartphone. Parking is at your own expense--we do not validate. The Gallery is easily accessible by public transportation with MetroLink and MetroBus with MetroBus stops on Olive Street and Tucker right near the building.
