Art Saint Louis presents "Varsity Art XX," our 20th annual invitational exhibition featuring 37 outstanding undergrad & graduate level art students representing 19 St. Louis regional universities and colleges from Missouri & Illinois.

This multi-media exhibit will feature 37 artworks in a variety of media including ceramics, digital imaging, drawings, graphic design, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and more.

One of the interesting features of this exhibit is the opportunity for Gallery visitors to Meet the Artists by scanning a QR code on the tag displayed next to each artwork in the exhibit. Guests can scan the code with their smartphone or digital notepad and then watch a short Artist Interview Video introducing them to each artist. These videos will also be posted on the Art Saint Louis YouTube Channel (after March 4).

Another feature to this exhibit is that one artist's work will be selected to receive an Award of Excellence as being an "outstanding" artwork in the exhibition. That artist will then be eligible to submit artwork for Art Saint Louis' Honor Awards 2017 curated exhibition, a show only open to artists who receive Awards of Excellence in our juried exhibits during 2016—this is considered quite an honor.

CONGRATULATIONS to Donny Bradfield whose work has been selected for the Award of Excellence in this exhibit and to Catherine Anne Morgan for the Honorable Mention.

Throughout the exhibition, Gallery visitors can vote for their favorite artworks in the show. Each artist has a unique hashtag on the show tag next to their artwork and guests can vote for their favorite artworks via Twitter, with the top three artists receiving Audience Choice Awards at the end of the show.
