Joy is an exuberant new art exhibition presented by Art Saint Louis, in partnership with Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Joy is the second of three exhibitions bringing visual arts to the South Lobby of Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The exhibit features artworks that embody, illustrate, and evoke joy, happiness and vitality. This new exhibition was preceded at Barnes-Jewish Hospital by an exhibition titled Picture of Health.

Joy features original artworks by 16 St. Louis regional artists. The wide range of styles and expressions aims to create an aesthetically rich, uplifting experience for patients, families and caregivers, enlivening and elevating the emotional and intellectual atmosphere. Jurors for Joy were Sarah Colby, artist and Arts + Healthcare Program Coordinator of The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Jennifer Arvin, Director of Communications & Marketing for Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
