spotlights our Summer exhibition, Honor Awards 2023, currently on view in the ASL Gallery through July 13, 2023. We are grateful to HEC-TV and to Producer Paul Langdon for this excellent video that celebrates the work of Art Saint Louis.


Honor Awards 2023 features artworks by ten Award-winning STL regional artists who received Awards of Excellence in our 2021 juried exhibits at Art Saint Louis: Ainura Barron, Nancy Exarhu, Brenda Gilliam, Sandy Kaplan, Misato Pang, Adrienne L.J. Patel, Marilyn Robinson, Duenne Schlarman, Den Smith, and Sun Smith-Foret.


Please visit Art Saint Louis and check out this new exhibit. The Gallery is free and open to the public Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. We're closed Sundays and holidays, including June 19 in observance of Juneteenth, and July 1 and July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Summer 2023 exhibit at Art Saint Louis

Art Saint Louis is pleased to present our Summer exhibition, Honor Awards 2023, on view in the Gallery June 10-13, 2023. The show opens with a free reception on Saturday, June 10 from 4-6 p.m. with a special tasting of Switchgrass Spirits courtesy of artist Brenda Gilliam. Additional complimentary beverages will be served courtesy of Art Saint Louis.

Honor Awards 2023 features 48 recent works in ceramics, digital art, installation, painting, printmaking, and textiles by ten Award-winning artists who received Awards of Excellence in our 2021 juried exhibits.

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with artist Sara Vanderbeek of Austin, Texas as Juror for this exhibition. Vanderbeek is an award-winning artist, curator, lecturer, and gallery owner. Sara was born and raised in St. Louis and holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI (2003). Her works are in numerous private collections throughout the U.S.

 

Video Spotlight: Varsity Art 27

spotlights our Spring 2023 exhibition, Varsity Art XXVII, currently on view in the ASL Gallery through March 30.

This year's 27th annual exhibit features original artworks by 43 STL undergrad and grad level art students representing 22 colleges and universities from the St. Louis region (all within 200 miles of Art Saint Louis). Varsity Art XXVII

Art Saint Louis is pleased to present our 27th annual Varsity Art exhibition on view in the Gallery and also as a Virtual Gallery Exhibit online March 3-30, 2023. An invitational exhibition, this year's show presents works by 43 undergrad and grad level art students representing 22 area colleges and universities from the St. Louis region in Missouri and Illinois. Each year Art Saint Louis works with Professors from area colleges and universities and invites the instructors to select up to two students to represent their school in our exhibit.

This year's multi-media exhibit features original artworks in a variety of media including ceramics, digital media, drawing, graphic design, mixed media, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video. Video Spotlight: Personal History

spotlights our first show of the new year, Personal History. This new juried exhibit is currently on view in the Art Saint Louis Gallery through February 15 and features 63 original artworks by 51 STL regional artists as selected by Jurors Naomi Sugino Lear and Nancy Palmeri.
