We are pleased to present Art St. Louis XXXIX, The Exhibition, our 39th annual all media, all subjects/themes, all styles, all techniques exhibition.

For this year's show, 573 artworks in all media were submitted by 147 St. Louis regional artists for consideration by Juror Igor Karash from which he selected artworks by 58 artists for our exhibition.

This year's multi-media exhibit includes 68 original artworks in ceramics, collage, digital media, drawing, handmade paper, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, and wood. We invite you to view our Facebook album for this exhibit which will include images of all of the artworks that will be featured in the show.

Congratulations to all of our Award winners as selected by Juror Igor Karash. Best of Show Award goes to David M. Yates; Awards of Excellence recipients are Avery DiFranco, Matthew Lewis, Candace Mothersbaugh, and Randy Simmons. Honorable Mentions go to Celia Pearl Friedrich, Mimi C. Huang, Terry Lay, and Bruce Morton.

Art St. Louis XXXIX, The Exhibition is presented November 11-December 14, 2023. A free public reception is held for this exhibit on Saturday, November 11 from 5-7 p.m. with a brief Juror's Gallery Talk & Awards presentation at 6:15 p.m. Complimentary beverages will be served.


Art Saint Louis is ree & open to the public six days a week. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through December 14. Closed Sundays & holidays, including November 23-26 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Dates and hours subject to change.

OUR JUROR

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with artist Igor Karash as this year's exhibition Juror.

Igor Karash is an award-winning illustrator who works in multiple disciplines from book illustration and graphic novels to visual commentary and political satire. Igor's client list includes Folio Society in London, Top Shelf Productions and IDW Publishing, Easton Press, Oprah Magazine, and TABLET Magazine among others. Igor's Illustrator profile is part of the TASCHEN's The ILLUSTRATOR 100 Best around the Globe edition curated by Steven Heller and Julius Weidemann. Igor's work has been recognized by numerous illustration competitions, including World Illustration Awards (AOI in London), American Illustration, Society of Illustrators in NYC, Creative Quarterly and 3x3 Magazine of Contemporary Illustration. Igor teaches various courses of illustration at the Department of Art, Design and Art History (DADAH) at Webster University, St. Louis, MO.

PARKING RECOMMENDATIONS
Art Saint Louis is located at 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis. There are parking METERS on Pine Street and Olive Street & other nearby streets. Parking meters run 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Fines are steep ($20), so don't let your meter expire. Visit Downtown St. Louis.org's website for additional parking suggestions. You can also download the handy Parkmobile app, whereby you can pay for and monitor parking meter via your mobile phone.


Hourly paid parking is available with limited hours in the PARK PACIFIC GARAGE on Olive just West of Tucker. The garage entrance is on the South side of Olive. Parking is at your own expense and payable by credit card upon exiting the garage. Access to the garage & hours are currently limited. Be sure to take your parking receipt/ticket with you when you exit your car to visit the Gallery or you won't be able to get back in to the garage to get to your garage. Your parking ticket is your key to get back in to the garage. Art Saint Louis cannot validate parking.
The Gallery is easily accessible by PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION with MetroLink and MetroBus with MetroBus stops nearby.

If you are uncomfortable driving downtown, you might want to consider a carpool or rideshare to our location.
