Thanks to artists Michael AndersonAngélica AvendañoRussell ConklinMuriel Eulich and Amelia Fawcett for coloring downtown so beautifully, and to ASL’s production team, Emily Amberger, Sarah Harford and Stacy Larson, for managing the event so capably.

Adding to the talent of the artists was a great mix of music concocted by ASL’s own Emily Amberger, delicious fruit smoothies by Smoothie King and free coffee cards from Mississippi Mud Coffee Roasters—all giving the Plaza an enticing atmosphere and causing lunch crowds to linger.

We owe great thanks to Downtown Now!, The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, and U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation for making this event series possible. Thank you, sponsors, for helping us celebrate and share local talent in this way!

More photos from the afternoon are available on Facebook. And there’s more Art in the Plaza on the way! Join us on October 9, 16, 23 and 31, always at the Old Post Office Plaza at 8th and Locust streets, each week with a talented team of local artists working their creative magic. Stop by from noon to 2 p.m. and see what's it all about!
